Lata, Rafi and Kishore

Some where i heard that comparison between artists is wrong as music is like a museum and each item has its own uniqueness in a museum and can't be compared. But still i want to point out the strength and weaknesses of all time great singers of Hindi film industry.

Lata: In my opinion Lata is the greatest singer of all time in this world. Technically she is perfect and nobody can put a finger towards her capabilities. Although in rare occasions i felt she lacks putting emotions in her songs and it may be true that she is not that emotional, but still she is so flawless that we tend to ignore the emotional factor and enjoy her voice.
   Music directors like O.P. Naiyyar and R.D. Burman selected Asha Bhosle for most of their song when Lata was considered the only choice. It is because of the fact that they think lata cant create childish emotions for fast songs as she used to be considered a serious singer.

 







Rafi: Rafi is a singer that could take a song to a new level by putting his emotions in the songs. I have listened to atleast 10000 songs till date but still do not know any singer that can touch the height of emotions that rafi did. Rafi was a all rounder and can sing any kind of songs.









 



Kishore: The level kishore touched in singing  fast numbers rafi couldn't. please listen to "janu meri jaan" of film shaan, sung by two best male singers of india. In this song kishore takes the cake away, while rafi could not keep up with the pace of kishore. That's why he became the primary choice of R.D. Burman. However in song "tum bin jaun kahan" of film pyar ka mausam which is sung by both Rafi and Kishore seperately, the one with Rafi's voice is far better as kishore could not achieved the melody created by Rafi.








I have tried to explain my opinions, if any body has any objection please feel free to say but give a example with ur point.

what's with indian men

Indian men are seen as perverts not only due to increasing number of rape incidents in India but also for their attitude towards females.In a survey only 17% of indian men have qualified to the 'highly equitable' (gender-just) category.  But in my opinion educated middle class of indian men controls their sexual desires the most in the world.  I am not defending any rape culprit or supporting any groper but trying to give some facts that can help to understand the behaviour of indian men.

  Indian lower class is uneducated and doesn't have any emotional support from their family, so it is obvious for them to be criminal minded. This lower class is responsible for most of the rapes in india. An economic and social reform as well as strict police action followed by quick judiciary process is required to curb these.

  However middle class men do stare at any young girl they see, and the reason behind it is their sexual starvation. In india dating is not allowed (socially) between young man and woman. A couple is only expected to have sex after marriage. And for the marriage man need to have a good job that can take care of him, his wife and future children.

Due to indian education system which involves useless degrees that hardly fetch any job other than a teacher with minimum wages, making way between a cutthroat competition in a country with population of over a billion is a tough job. Most of the middle class indian man reach the age of 28(average is 30yrs) when they can be considered as a suitable candidate for marriage. Nobody can understand the depth of frustration of a man who is in his prime years of youth, deprived of any emotional/physical support of a partner and is struggling to make his carrier in such an environment. 

Even after the marriage this irony doen't end. In a survey Men's Health found that Indian men have sex less than once a week on average. This was the lowest rate among the 30 participating countries. Almost half of the Indian males surveyed (48%) said they believe their partners often fake orgasm, and the average man has had just three bedroom companions. Meanwhile, men in Croatia reported having an average of 11 partners each, making them the most promiscuous guys on the planet. nydailynews

  Can you see the connection in two survey's i mentioned, the Croatian men who have most sex are the most gender-just(gender equality).

  Please read a comment of a young indian male posted in a porn forum.. i have edited(also merged 3 posts in to one ) it due to use of incorrect English but kept the theme(intent) the same. You can see the height of frustrations that have rooted inside the indian males.

1. Every body must have thought about the big question- why we are here in this world or what is the purpose of our lives. I have gone a level deep and thought (actually it is very difficult to phrase)
 - What would have happened if there is no universe, no time and no space. There would be nobody to even think about why we are here. What the heck was the need to even have this chaotic universe. And even if it was needed, we need someone(you may call him god) to start all this nonsense. But the question remains the same who created the god and why it was required.
    If some one has the answer to this question please feel free to answer but give logical reply and don't bullshit me with your faiths.





2. I wonder if every one has easy access to painless and quick death, how many of us would opt for it.
 Is it better to live like a cockroach or die like a human.

 






3.The prime factor behind love is sex (reason: just imagine your partner is having sex with someone else, would you still love her/him). Then why the love is seen as a sacred emotion and sex is not. I just hate the double standards of human minds.









4.There are people who can die for their country and there are people who can sell their country for personal gains. It is very obvious to have people of different characters, but the problem starts when the former takes orders from the latter.
